  Dr. Bradshaw was exactly what we were looking for, an informed, passionate, reasonable professional. She was great for the first year, especially when things were difficult. As it became harder to get in to see her (she was becoming well-known), we decided to try other places. After two failed experiences at other clinics, we realised the overcrowding and moody nurses were a symptom of a system-wide healthcare problem. At least Eugene Peds has great doctors and some highly competent staff. We see Zallen now for two children and she is wonderful. Not a perfect place, but possibly the best in Eugene.

  I am so upset and there is no way to contact them through email. I'm hoping you will read this because I feel you need to know. My children have been patients here for about a year or so. They just moved us to a new pediatrician. Typically they are really great about squeezing us in, which i appreciate. However, this past visit, with a brand new pediatrician was awful! First of all, the nurse was beyond rude. She didn't even acknowlege the kids, just said, "get them undressed so I can do their measurments". She didn't say hi to my children or even care that they were sick. My son has some anxiety going to the doctor, he's only 23 months. The pediatrician came in...She didn't do anything to help calm him down. She said, "hold him down so I can check his throat". She didn't explain to him what she was doing or get down to his level. In fact, she never even talked to him. Just asked us to restain him. Then, after all the trauma my son endured, she never even offered him a sticker or anything. I was so upset. Going to the doctor can be a very scary experience for some children and the doctors here seem so cold and disconnected. It's really too bad because i love the office and the receptionists. Pediatricians should love children.
